Design för lärande: Skolmiljön som stöd för elevernas lärande och välmående – Ett samarbete med Hagaskolan – Göteborg

This project explored how the physical environment of schools could be developed to encourage learning and create a more pleasant and inclusive daily experience for both students and teachers. Using Hagaskolan in Gothenburg as a case study, the work combined interior architecture with a human-centered approach.

The project covered the entire process – from analyzing the school’s existing layout and interior design to proposing a new spatial concept.
The project also raised questions about how school environments could reflect and promote democratic values, participation, and a sense of belonging.

By combining theory and practice, the work demonstrated how interior architecture could contribute to creating schools that were not only functional, but also engaging and meaningful for those who used them every day.
The result is presented through visual illustrations, showing how the environment can be improved to meet diverse needs and foster an inspiring learning environment
