Sofus Ravn works across photography, drawing, sculpture, text, and installation. Drawing on childhood symbols, popular culture, and fragments of memory and loss, his practice blends the playful with the uncanny.
White Rabbit is an ongoing project rooted in memories from the artist’s childhood home and the loss of his mother. Shaped by the experiences of rupture and absence, the work filters personal material through diverse media and cultural references.
The installation unfolds as a curated collision of childlike aesthetics, eroticism and violent undertones. Rather than reconstructing the past, Ravn works with images, objects, and gestures that carry traces of recollection and imagination. The result is an environment shaped by feeling rather than narrative, where elements are recombined into something both familiar and unsettling.
