This spatial installation structures visibility and invisibility. It holds absence as an ongoing condition produced by contemporary border regimes, where certain lives are rendered ungrievable and vanish beyond recognition.
Wake Stitch explores the materialization of time. Through small, repetitive gestures in weaving and stitching, I work within conditions that exceed the body, where fragile actions persist within overwhelming surroundings.
Using textile, metal and chemical processes, I engage with time not as something that passes, but as something that accumulates, alters and leaves traces. Techniques such as electroforming and immersion in salt water allow materials to register duration through transformation.
Wake Stitch does not aim to represent an event, but rather to materialize time as a site where rupture becomes perceptible.
Citizens of the Ocean

Small acts persist. Here, each stitch becomes a unit of time, a gesture of attention, a form of staying with what remains.
Containers of Absence
Hand stitched & electroformed textile
These containers operate as sites of suspension, holding what cannot be recovered, named or resolved. The immersed hybrids are neither fully present nor entirely absent.
Layers of Sediment

This is the unfitting body. This is an ear that walked through Gothenburg, listening to the sounds of the city without fear.
