Pictures For Love
Den här texten finns bara tillgänglig på engelska.
In the project Pictures for Love, Camilla Lohmann explores what happens in that intermediate state, where an object or person no longer serves its intended purpose.
Drawing upon the tactile resonance of materials, their form and function, and the quiet stories embedded in human encounters, she unites worn industrial sanding belts with screen-printed portraits. Lohmann forges an unexpected dialogue between image and object, where new narratives surface and familiar shapes dissolve.
She explores the dilemma and duality of wanting to be loved and accepted by the outside world while remaining true to one’s authentic self.
