Du gamla du fria(2025) is a collection of thoughts, a mind map tracing the time we live–, where genocide is justified, war crimes forgiven, and resistance punished, where fundamental human rights do not apply to everyone. a protest against the comfort of silence and a reckoning with Sweden’s self-image and the belief in the nations as just, peaceful, and morally exemplary And a messy little archive of how the “unconditional abolition of colonialism” never came to be, How even here in Sweden we carry its logic — in our bodies, in our language. we are not standing on the sidelines at all; we are in the middle of it, a part of it.
