Drawing with emotions

In today’s fast-paced digital society, children and young people are constantly exposed to information, impressions, and expectations, increasing the need to identify, express, and manage emotions. Images are powerful tools of communication that can visualize opinions, values. Experiences and illustration can function as an accessible language that is sometimes easier to relate to than words.

Drawing with Emotions is an exploratory illustration project that encourages children aged 10–12 to reflect on and express emotions through creativity.
The project combines visual storytelling with educational elements to explore how emotions work and how difficult or contemporary subjects can be approached in a more playful and open way in schools. Its purpose is to inspire and encourage the target audience while contributing to an environment in which students can feel safe, engaged, and creatively stimulated within the school setting.
