The physical space between the floating images becomes central for the spectator to interact with the work. A Dance to Summon the Void examines mental and physical developmental processes where the volatile is shaped as a construction. Seven images are seen from different angles depending on the viewer’s movements. The balance between the inner and outer and how that affects the viewer becomes detrimental as they move throughout the fragile structure.
Lea Maja Thorsen examines questions about human change processes linked to the individual, social circumstance and relationships. This is done through a performative view of the medium of photography.
