“sun-kissed puddle licker” is a multisensory artwork that explores the reflective properties of nature. Using the sun’s and moon’s reflections on water as visual material and sounds from space and nature documentaries, a light and sound landscape is created that relates to the Albedo scale, a measure of different surfaces’ reflection capabilities.
By intertwining sound and video, a dynamic interaction is created where the amount of light and the frequency of sound are synchronized, reflecting the gravitational pull of the sun and moon on the water. The viewer is invited to explore nature’s reflections and how it affects our perceptions of our environment.
