Carla Lomakka’s artistic practice draws attention to everyday and intimate scenes. The short film You met every day; then not for six months, or years visualises a voice message that tells of a sudden encounter on the street. In dialogue with the film are collages that bring together the alive and momentary with the preserved and past. Time is overlapped by fragmenting and combining different photographs: people, places and things are woven together.
